The Pines of Burton provides comprehensive care services across its different facilities: Assisted Living: Assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, medication monitoring, and mobility. 24-hour nurse-directed medication management, including ordering, supervision, and assistance. Nurses coordinate care with physicians both on and off-site. 24-hour emergency call system in each residential suite and bathroom. Three healthy and delicious meals served daily, with healthy snacks offered throughout the day. Weekly housekeeping services. Laundry services (residents' personal items, bath towels, and bed linens washed and returned folded). Activity programs including exercise classes, Wii games, entertainment, computer classes, contests, and movies. Pharmacy makes daily deliveries to each community. Memory Care (North & South): Memory Care South (Early-Onset Dementia): Stand-alone community specializing in early-onset Alzheimer's and other memory loss disorders. It's secure but allows residents a sense of independence. Features include digital picture frames outside suites to help residents identify their rooms, a secured courtyard, a dining room overlooking the kitchen, and living rooms with bird aviaries and fish tanks. Memory Care North (Later Stages Dementia): Offers elevated services and additional security for individuals with later stages of Alzheimer's and memory loss disorders. Care managers specially trained in dementia care. Trained professionals visit the community to provide services, reducing the need for off-site doctor's office trips. Amenities & Features: Private suites with bay windows, large enough to accommodate married couples. Rooms can be furnished by the resident to create a home-like environment, or furnished rooms are available. Spacious dining rooms. Media and TV areas. Phone jacks and cable TV hookups in residential apartments. State-of-the-art security system and sprinkler system. On-site Barber/Beauty Salon. Outdoor areas and walking paths. Pet-friendly environment (check specific pet policies for dogs and cats). Secured community. Computer access, cafe & ice cream parlor, garden club, support groups, tea and table talk.
