I live in NY and my dad is in AZ. How can i monitor his daily health and safety effectively?

I’d probably try to have someone local check in on him regularly, especially if you can’t be there yourself. A trusted neighbor, family member, or professional caregiver can help with the things you can’t easily keep track of from another state. For the day-to-day stuff, regular phone or video calls can help too. If he’s comfortable with them, things like medical alert systems or cameras in common areas can give you some extra peace of mind without making him feel like he’s being watched all the time.
I’d also keep his doctor and emergency contacts organized so you know who to call if something comes up.
